THEATRE POLICY

Effective immediately, the Historic Fischer Theatre has implemented a new policy to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all guests.
Policy Overview: Guests under the age of 15 must be accompanied by and actively supervised by a responsible adult (18 years or older) at all times while in the theatre. The supervising adult must remain with them during the entire visit.
Age Verification: Guests appearing to be 15 years old or younger will be required to show proof of age upon entry.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- School ID card with a date of birth and photo
- Military ID
- Passport
- State-issued driver’s license or ID Card
Guests unable to provide proof of age may be asked to leave the theatre.
General Housekeeping:
- Please silence all mobile devices before entering the performance space.
- No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the theatre.
- Flash photography and video recording are prohibited during performances.
- Guests should remain seated during performances unless an emergency requires them to leave.
- Disruptive behavior, including excessive talking, loud noises, or inappropriate conduct, will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the theatre.
- Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the theatre.
- Please clean up the space around you upon exiting the theatre. Trash receptacles can be found in the back of the theatre.
Purpose of the Policy: This policy is not intended to discourage or exclude anyone from enjoying performances at the Historic Fischer Theatre. Instead, it is designed to maintain a safe, comfortable, and disruption-free environment for everyone to have the best possible experience.

Q: How can I purchase tickets?
A: Advance tickets can be purchased in a couple of ways:
Online, here on the website.
At the Fischer Box Office. Our in-person box office accepts Cash, Checks(made payable to Vermilion Heritage Foundation), VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Our box office is the ONLY in-person retail outlet you can purchase a paper ticket. Our box office hours on non-show days are Wednesday-Friday, 10 am-1 pm.
Q: How old do you have to be to attend shows at The Historic Fischer Theatre?
A: Unless otherwise posted our shows are 18 unless attended with a parent or legal guardian. Occasionally, some shows are for all ages or 21.
PARKING
Where can I park my ride?
All Parking is FREE public parking.
There is parking on Vermilion Street in front of the theatre. On busy nights the street parking fills up quickly, come early. There is also a lot one block behind (to the west of) the theatre on Walnut Street, and a lot available across the street from the Wolford apartments. Please note that the parking lot across from the Wolford apartments is not open to the public until after 5:00 pm.
